Centre Stage is proud to support Switch Theatre, the new writing partnership of Fiona Coughlan and Hannah Carnegie, as they bring The Problem with Kate Winslet’s Dress to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2026.

This witty and heartfelt new play explores love, loss, and self-discovery through the lens of cinema. Blending humour, nostalgia, and original music, it celebrates the moments when life is nothing like the movies—and the rare occasions when it feels exactly like one. Following its acclaimed presentation at Dublin’s Scene + Heard Festival, the production heads to Edinburgh this August.
